Generosity, compassion, and commitment to positive change have been at the heart of Cleanshelf Supermarket Rongai’s partnership with our girls’ rescue centre. On 16th July 2025, like many times before, the supermarket team generously visited the centre with donations of foodstuff, sanitary pads, soaps, and other essential personal items that the girls will need when they return to school.

For the girls at our centre, these donations mean so much more than just material gifts; they represent care and support from the broader community. These young Maasai girls, who have often been victims of early marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), now have access to resources that help them rebuild their lives, continue their education, and live with dignity.

During their visit, the Cleanshelf team spent valuable time engaging with the girls, listening to their stories, and offering encouragement. This personal connection is invaluable and serves as a reminder that our girls are not alone on their journey to healing and empowerment. It also fosters a sense of community and belonging, where the girls feel supported by individuals and businesses who care about their future.

We are truly grateful for Cleanshelf Supermarket Rongai’s unwavering commitment to supporting our girls. Their continued generosity ensures that our rescue centre can provide essential care to the girls as they continue their education and heal from the trauma they have experienced. We look forward to this ongoing partnership and appreciate all the wonderful work they do to make the world a better place for these young Maasai girls.
