On 22nd October 2025<\/strong>, our team visited Enairimirimi Primary School<\/strong> in Kajiado County<\/strong> for a special recruitment program aimed at identifying and supporting girls from needy families<\/strong> who are in dire need of educational sponsorship. We were thrilled to have successfully recruited 11 girls<\/strong> into our education sponsorship program<\/strong>, which will ensure that they have the resources and support needed to pursue their studies and build a brighter future, free from the burdens of early marriage and FGM.<\/p>\n The visit wasn\u2019t just about recruitment\u2014it was also an opportunity to engage with the local community. We took time to meet with the parents<\/strong> of the girls, where we provided them with important information about the organization’s operations, the benefits of education, and what would be expected from both the parents and the children as they enter the sponsorship program. These conversations were essential in establishing trust and ensuring that the parents are fully committed to supporting their daughters’ education.<\/p>\n Equally significant was the opportunity to meet with the school\u2019s teachers<\/strong>, and we were especially grateful for the ongoing support of the head teacher<\/strong> and the area chief<\/strong>. Their commitment to our cause has been invaluable, particularly when it comes to following up on the sponsored children, who often reside in rural areas that are quite far from our headquarters in Kiserian<\/strong>. Their efforts in keeping track of the girls\u2019 progress have been instrumental in ensuring that our programs run smoothly, and we appreciate their dedication.<\/p>\n To conclude our visit, we had the privilege of presenting gifts<\/strong> to some of the top-performing students<\/strong> in the school. We also honored a few students who are about to sit for their national exams<\/strong>, recognizing their hard work and dedication. It was inspiring to see how much potential these young students have, and we hope that this small gesture of appreciation will motivate them to continue striving for excellence.<\/p>\n Finally, we spoke to the entire school during an assembly, encouraging the students to remain focused on their studies and continue working hard in their education. The message was clear: education is the key to unlocking a better future, and we want to empower every child, especially girls, to break free from the constraints of harmful traditional practices.<\/p>\n This visit to Enairimirimi Primary School<\/strong> was a reminder of the power of education and community collaboration. We are deeply grateful to the parents, teachers, head teacher, area chief<\/strong>, and the entire school community for their support in helping us make this program a success. Together, we are laying the foundation for a brighter future for these young girls, and we look forward to seeing them thrive in their educational journeys.<\/p>\n
